There are tags on the drums. Can you report what is in the drums?

Yes, I took a picture of a drum label. It says "Purge Water" and "Non-Haz."

I reported it as a blighted property to Code Enforcement.

Thank you. They still should not be there. The date looks like 9/2013.I will contact Alameda Co Environmental Health. The City needs to fine these property owners. There are way to many of these properties.

Blighted abandoned properties are a huge problem in many cities. I doubt Code Enforcement has enough staff to keep up with them all. Even if they do get cited, if the owner doesn't comply, they city attorney's office then has to go after them legally which can take quite a while.

Contacted the case worker for this site. I was to able to introduce her to SEECLICKFIX, Karen was able to see the drums and said she would contact the property owners.

Thanks, David! This property is a big eyesore and general concern in our neighborhood. My kids and I walk by it every day on the way to and from school. I really appreciate your action.
