Description
A beautiful Street light was literally blown away by a severe wind event last fall. Though the light is still working, the canopy was destroyed, exposing the innards to the elements. Though I reported it that night, it has not been repaired.

Do we need to go above Becky's head to fix the streetlight?
(that's a streetlight repair joke)
Mayor Becker's Office (Guest)
Hi there,
I apologize for the delay in response. I have connected with the Salt Lake City Street Lighting Program Manager and he provided the following information:
"We are waiting on parts to arrive to fix this light. From our understanding, the light still works but the glass is broken. However, as soon as the parts come in, we will install them. There are a few other lights along the same road that also require additional parts and they will be fixed at the same time. "
I hope this information is helpful and thank you again for writing.
Best,
Rachel on behalf of Mayor Becker
