former convenient car wash is now a collapsing heap with graffiti all over. This is urban blight that folks see the moment they enter Burlington from Winooski. Burlington council should care more about this and the other run-down buildings on this entry-way to the city than spend hundreds of thousands to study and implement bike lanes that just infuriate the residences. Clean this up please.

A BP was issued 8-28-2020. The rebuild has not started but the hazardous condition has been removed for some time. The new roof trusses are on site. Permit language is: “Specific to VT Fire & Building Safety Code: Replace failing roof structure with new trusses, headers, sheathing and shingles in existing footprint with no change in design.”
