Thank you for the post. Although you're informing us that this vehicle has been sitting for multiple weeks this SeeClickFix issue was posted last night. As a result, an officer was dispatched today to investigate the vehicle. What we found was that there is indeed a current residential zone 3 permit in the rear windshield so we were unable to issue it a violation 56 for not having a permit in a residential parking zone. As far as towing the vehicle for 72 hour parking, we need to first see for ourselves that the vehicle is there, usually issue a warning ticket indicating that we have begun timing it for 72 hours, and then return after 72 hours has passed and if the vehicle is unmoved we will tow. Unfortunately, when a vehicle possesses a valid residential parking permit and is parked within that residential parking zone, we are unable to tow for 72 hour parking per city ordinance. I am closing this issue as this vehicle is parked legally.

perhaps belongs to a yale student who lives nearby and does Not pay city taxes. why o why do they bring the cars and let the*die* at the curb during snow emergencies? TOW THEM THE HELL OUT OF THE SPOT and leave the parking spot open for a New Haven city permanent resident!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! City please take notice. going on longer than 4 weeks now.

yes, please come out today and tow that damn car out of that spot. we needed that *spot* to park our odd side of the street cars starting at 12 midnight SUNDAY. message sent by the Mayors office to ban pariking before mondays storm (????????).
