The repaving job done just a couple summers ago, is already exposing significant cracks and warping. Also the rims and backboards are the worst in burlington. Please upgrade to the specs like Pomeroy and Roosevelt. Many youth use these courts and we’d like to see them better maintained.

Thank you for the report. This court(s) is on the capital list to replace when funding allows. We will certainly do whatever we can to improve rims and safety concerns. The courts were not repaved, just crack sealed and painted every 2/3 years since 2013. All of the City courts were installed at a similar time and we are replacing them by their condition as funding allows. When they are replaced, just like the tennis courts, they will have to be raised in order to properly drain the area, which is also part of the plan- due to the topography and soil conditions it naturally dries out closer to June. ~parks
