Notified About

  • 89 Cambridge Street Charlestown, MA 02129, USA - Charlestown
The right side of the road in front of Dunkin Donuts is lined off and supposed to be for bikes only instead 5 percent of traffic seems to use it as a personal lane to cut off other drivers stopped at the light. This is very dangerous for bikes and unsuspecting traffic. For some reason police never enforce the rules here.
  • Tobin Memorial Bridge Boston, MA - Charlestown
Pothole in Northbound tunnel in passing lane, 20-30 feet past merger on leftmost side of lane right as elevation starts to rise and bridge begins. Pothole is on or combined with a metal storm drain, bent both of my left wheels, front and rear with bad impact.
  • 30 Monument Square Boston, MA 02129, USA - Charlestown
This item has been reported numerous tines in the past 18 months and has not been corrected. The holes are very deep and there is a great concern that some will be fall and get injured. Please help in getting this corrected.
  • 10 Alford Street Boston, Massachusetts - Charlestown

The signs posted with respect to the bicycle lane at this intersection are confusing. Bikes coming south on 99 have a stop sign. Motorists coming around Sullivan Square roundabout have an unusual sign with a Yield symbol and a path over the bike lane. It's not clear what behavior is expected of both bikers and motorists with this sign combination. Should cyclists come to a stop and then proceed with the expectation that motorists will yield? Are cyclists expected to stop and yield to cars, with the unusual sign just asking motorists to be aware of cyclists who might not have seen them? Something else?

Please clarify the expected action and communicate it more clearly to all road users, either through additional or more clear signs.

  • 256 Medford St Boston, MA - Charlestown
Resident parking is not being enforced for overnight parking on Medford Street. Those who have resident stickers are being forced to park a number of blocks from our home due to those illegally parking in our spots. I parked 4 blocks from my house after 10pm the other night, and counted 10 cars on my way home, that did not have resident parking stickers. This problem will get worse in the winter, as Terminal street and the Navy yard are the only available parking for those of us on Medford St.The Navy Yard garage has limited space, and Terminal st--which used to be open for parking--is full all the time, and residents are forced to park in "no parking" zones in front of Little Mystic Access Area. Both sides of street need to be opened for parking and "no parking" spaces need to be opened up. many people on the side streets of Elm are parking on Medford and leaving cars all week, keeping us from parking even within a block of our home, when we used to be able to park somewhere close to the front.
  • 99 Cambridge Street Boston, Massachusetts - Charlestown
The solid and dashed lane markings that once marked a bike lane on Cambridge Street and Washington Street are in very bad shape after the winter. As a result drivers are trying to cram two lanes of traffic into one lane, causing more congestion and making it hazardous for cyclists trying to ride where the bike lane used to be. Both Boston and Somerville need to restripe their segments of Cambridge/Washington, but Boston's is in much worse condition.

  • Corner Of Medford St And Baldwin Street Charlestown , MA - Charlestown
The entire corner is crumbling, making it a tripping hazard and the crumbled pits keep growing weeds (even after being weeded by residents) making it very hard for wheels
  • 439 Main St Boston, MA 02129, USA - Charlestown
Bike lanes that were less than one month old were removed.
  • 90 Cambridge Street Boston, Massachusetts - Charlestown
The road has been newly paved about half a year ago but no markings have been painted on the road. This means no more bike lane and no clear indication to whether or not there are one or two car lanes. In the other direction, the bike lane markings are worn down severely to the point that they are no longer visible.
