Lighting not compliant. Not sea turtle safe. Bright light will disturb nesting see turtle mothers and cause disorientation of hatchlings. Disorientation is when newly hatched baby sea turtles crawl towards the land instead of into the sea.

Marriot chairs multiplied. As you can see on the picture, there are chairs on both sides of 92nd. After all the meetings and discussions, is this what the commission decided about this issue? Where can we find the rules that the hotels need to follow? Can you use the gazette to inform the neighbors?

6:30 am 8955 Collins Ave. Lights shining into windows and they're working loudly already. How is this allowed?

Four seasons is supposed to have it's Beach chair set up taken down before it's dark out. Beach attended said they had so many chairs set up that they were still working on it now.

This is a quiet day on the beautiful beaches of surfside between 95th and 94th.....thank you Grand Beach Hotel! Can't wait to see the impact of Marriott and four seasons? Fendi???

60 lounge chairs stored & locked in the middle of the sand, where people are out And about on the sand.

Marriott Hotel widening their setup area. Spreading to the north behind 9225 Collins without permission. When will this illegal setup be stopped..

Trees on the empty lot block visibility for people to cross Harding Ave on 90 street to the West. It's dangerous.

Since their incident this past weekend, Carlisle has put two massive generators outside their building (in their street parking) running around the clock, causing such high noise that it makes it impossible to be outside for anyone living in the south face of The Waverly (9201 Collins).
Worse, the fumes from those gens pester the air so we can't open the windows.

Carlisle should move those gens to their garage, under their building, reducing the noise and giving the fumes a more democratic exit (this situation is Carlisle's problem, but their're turning it into a public problem, especially for The Waverly)

Dog on the beach digging holes and then in the ocean not on a leash... Police were stopped and said rules are "vague", but did nothing and drove off... Then Jane the assistant town attorney walked by the dog ignoring the situation... Again, who is watching over Surfside??? Who knows the law??? Who cares???

The new stop sign by the 95th St Circle is inside the bushes and too far back. Should be moved for visibility. People don't see it or expect it. They are flying through. It's inside a property line vs. out on the curb. Maybe bright painted crosswalks will help us.
