    Hello,

    I would like to request a street light be installed on the telephone pole in front of my home. I've noticed there are street lights on most of the other poles on Birch Tree Drive. It makes the street in front of our house considerably darker, which presents a safety issue particularly coming around a sharp curve. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions.

    THIS WOULD NOW BE THE FOURTH STREETLIGHT THAT HAS FALLEN IN THE TOWN OF WESTWOOD IN RECENT YEARS. ALL OF THE OTHER ONES THAT HAVE FALLEN WERE NEVER REPLACED. I UNDERSTAND THIS IS NOT THE TOWNS FAULT; HOWEVER WHAT CAN BE DONE FROM PREVENTING EXISTING STREETLIGHTS TO NOT DISAPPEAR IN THE FUTURE.

    Around 3 PM yesterday, the crosswalk signals were not working. I counted 3 full traffic cycles before it finally gave the walk signal. When we arrived at the intersection, two other parties had already pushed the button and were waiting. If people perceive the crosswalk lights to not be working, they're likely to just cross and with 4 lanes of traffic, it's an accident waiting to happen.

    The cross walk button next to the Mobile gas station is not working. Tried to cross and waited for the crosswalk button through 4 traffic light rotations. Crosswalk never came on.

    Request to add a crosswalk button, signal and traffic light at the corner of Hartford and 109 (where you take a right off 109 heading west to turn onto Hartford) to coincide with the the other cross walk signals at that intersection. It's a very dangerous intersection for walkers!

    School Street traffic light facing East Street doesn't change to green with each cycle early in the morning (up until about 8AM). Often cycles through 3 or more light changes before changing from red to green.

    This intersection continues to be very dangerous for students walking to Downey. While there is typically a crossing guard there, often times the cars aren't stopping, even for the crossing guard. As you drive up the street from Islington Center, you don't see the flashing lights until you come up over the hill. In addition, the flashing lights aren't enough to get traffic to stop. Can there be a traffic light installed, so when anyone needs to cross the street, they can press a button and force traffic to stop via a red signal?     Drivers on 109 rarely yield to pedestrians (including kids) in the crosswalk. Can we install touch-activated, solar powered flashing lights on cross walk signs like this one?

    The intersection at Smith Dr and East Street has become increasingly dangerous for drivers and pedestrians. It is imperative we get a traffic signal at this spot as the area becomes more congested with the population and business increases in the area. There was another accident this morning.
