The crosswalk on Gay Street at Croft Regis Rd and the Hanlon School does not have a crossing light like the crosswalk at Pine Ln and Gay Street does. I consistently experience drivers blowing through the crosswalk while I'm entering it or already crossing, especially if it's after school hours. As this crosswalk is directly in front an elementary school that has a lot of students and parents walking from the nearby neighborhoods, it seems like a pretty straight-forward safety issue.

Can we have a flashing crosswalk added here? Cars rarely stop for this crosswalk, and when they do it almost causes a pile up

Corner of Locust and Jessica Ln. There is a large amount of downed wire, some of it still hanging from a utility, some on a stone wall, and rest on the grass next to the utility pole. Some of it may have come down in recent storms. Does not appear to be live. Believe it is phone wire but not sure.

There is always trash near the bus stop in front of the library. It has blown all over this stretch of Washington St. Maybe if a trash can was added next to the stop it would help with people littering.

There is a beehive or hornet’s nest in a tree. It is located along the sidewalk near the parking lot by Marshall’s. Very dangerous! Please remove for safety reasons.
  • 50 Hawthorne Street Westwood, Massachusetts, 02090 - Westwood
We live at 50 Hawthorn Street and my husband used to reside at 34 St. Denis Drive. Both of these streets are incorrectly listed in the USPS database, which appears to be powered by NCOA. In the USPS database, Hawthorn is HAWTHORNE and St. Denis is ST. DENNIS. I have filed a grievance with the USPS, but I believe that it would be much faster and more effective if the Town of Westwood requested the change. These errors create much confusion and are easy to correct, as the signs on the street reflect the correct spelling.

We'd like to request a speed bump put in the beginning of the culdesac for the safety of the children playing outside.
  • 29 Fox Hill Street Westwood, MA, 02090, USA - Westwood

Hello, I live at 138 Country Lane. The cars that travel my street might not past the 30 mph limit (which much too fast for the street) but the cars go too fast. I would like to request the town to put in a speed hump to the left of my property which the street is level. I have no problem of purchasing a speed bump if you don't mind?

Also, why do we have stop signs on my street and no one stops! Also no one in forces, I have not seen a police man since the last regime??

    thank you for your time,
    Paul Rodenbush
