Agreed! I am one of the first posters, who was flabbergasted that a car could be on a snow route through this entire harsh winter and never towed. Snowplows had to veer around this car all winter and have left a huge amount of debris all around the car, which results in deep mud all around it every time there is some precipitation.

I called the alderman's office this morning, there's been confusion about it having IL or GA plates, she talked to the abandoned vehicles department and they will be out in the next 3 days to put the notice sticker on the car and if it hasn't been moved in 7 (or 10, can't remember) days it will be towed.

Unbelievable. Closed again though the car is still there. In fairness, at least it's been ticketed this time.

Did they tow it? There is a car from Arizona on Winona st. that's been their since dec.15.
