I first contacted our Alder, Abby Roth, and she determined it isn't the city but the highway crews doing construction at night and using Eld St as a cut through. I have sent an email to our State Representative, Roland Lemar, advising him of the extent of the complaints I received and asking him if her can point us in the right direction for a solution. Perhaps these trucks can use Grove St instead of Eld? I'll post more when I know more.

Construction is generally exempt from this- you would think the DOT would have the courtesy to not do this at 2am in a local neighborhood.- did you try the local DOT office in charge of this project? I believe there on Water Street.

I contacted State Rep Lemar today about this and he already reached out to the DOT, suggesting another nonresidential route such as Grove St. To be continued?...
