Description

This is a request on behalf of Tristan from Earthly Coffee at 55th/MLK Jr Way. The traffic signal timing at this intersection is not long enough for seniors to cross the street. MLK Jr Way is on the High Injury Network, this intersection is a collision hot-spot, and Tristan has seen many near misses. Please investigate ways to lengthen the crossing time for pedestrians to avoid conflicts with left turning vehicles. Pedestrians should not have to wait for another full cycle at the median refuge in the middle of this fast and busy street. Thank you!
