Good morning,
This is another follow up to my initial request on April 27, 2022 (followed up by requests made on 7/22/22 & 9/8/22).
The ground padding at the play structure under the swing is un safe and in need of patching (see attached for latest picture).

Please fix the mat surface under the swings for the dozens of children in the after school programs at the Rec Center, as well as neighborhood children who rely on the park (like my own).
The sand area in the playground is also very dirty and full of debris.
In addition, the entire park is overgrown with weeds. We often and spend hours weeding it ourselves. Thank you for your timely intervention on these matters.

Please fix this playground area under the swing, and then the other areas that are in disrepair. This is unsafe for children and a blight on the neighborhood.
The neighbors now understand that disrequest has been outstanding by the director of Redwood Heights recreation Center sent April of this year. It is now nearly November, and not one action has been taken to fix this playground and beautifuly it. please provide this neighborhood and Oakland with some hope that the process of community engagement and governmental response actually works. Thank you.
