I submitted a ticket a month ago (#13504986) regarding rethinking the lane striping for the repaved elm st to keep vehicle speeds in check and increase safety for the bicycle lane. It was robo-acknowledged and now I see the lanes are going back in exactly the same as before. Why are citizens not involved in the restriping of our public, tax-funded roadways? Why is the traffic department so intent on maintaining the status quo for car drivers to speed through the city with wide lanes?
