Not sure what needs to be studied here. Blocking the crosswalk is illegal because it is known to be dangerous for pedestrians. This particular vehicle is operated by a police officer, someone who should both know the law and care about safety. Clearly neither are the case.

Get JCPD in line and build a curb extension. Not much to study there.

This issue needs to be called into Public Safety Enforcement. Public Safety keeps a separate database due to the sensitive nature of many of their issues.

Relying on enforcement doesn’t help. Please build a curb extension.

You asked that the vehicles be kept out of the crosswalks, without mentioning a request for Pedestrian Safety study. We definitely have the ability to do that. In the meantime, please definitely call into Enforcement if you or any other concerned resident is able to do so.

I work at a hair salon right at this intersection, it desperately needs a safety study. I’ve got a laundry list of reasons why.
