It's time to get these people into sevices and/or homes.

This properties address is really 1019 44th avenue...the property borders 44th ave and high st. It owned and run by Tavares Tree Service. In addition it has been reported repeatedly. I reported it April 19th, 2012 #405323, May 8th, 2012 #407145, July 8, 2014 #527853. Someone else reported it a month or so ago # 548526. I know the city has tried but in all honesty this is really an issue that Noel Gallo's office is going to have to make a move to get some real progress by once and for all. The owner is non-compliant and basically harbors drug dealers, vagrants, crime, and is a massive nuisance to the community.

Call Assistant to the City Administrator Joe DeVries (510) 238-3083 JDevries@oaklandnet.com. He is the liaison to Caltrans and the interdepartmental coordinator for homeless encampments. As far helping a lot of these "people" do not want that kind of help.

I believe this is distinct from that homeless encampment as it is literally under bart and i assume that is bart or city land.

BART cleared this area out many months ago. It took a relatively short time for the fences to be cut and the camp to grow again. Much more evidence of drug use/sale in the neighborhood again.
