I normally report pole #s directly to progress energy via their report site at https://www.progress-energy.com/app/StreetlightRepair/default.aspx. However, there are many lights out along Falls of Neuse, Six Forks, and Millbrook. I don't want to get out of my car at night on a busy street to get the pole number. Does Progress Energy monitor or check the lights? I know in Knightdale, the police department reports lights. Is there anything like that happening in Raleigh, or is it just up to citizens to get the numbers? I ask because many of these lights have been out for months. Thank you for your time.

Progress Energy is currently conducting a sweep along Raleigh thoroughfares at night to fix malfunctioning streetlights.
If the outages haven’t been taken care of by the end of the year and you notice this, it would be great if you would update this post at that time. Our technician will be checking these after PE has been given time to complete their sweep.
