The whole city should be ashamed of this from the criminals who did this to the people that witnessed this dumping(NO WAY NOBODY SAW THIS HAPPEN) to the police that should be patrolling this area, LCI and even the Mayor. This is right in front of Ben Jepson Elem. school!!! Imagine going to work or school every day and seeing this. Disgusting.

How long has it been there New Haven? Weeks now, a month?

Like I have said before, make the dump free for residential dumping or this problem will only get worse and the actual working people (who pay the salaries of the city officials) will continue to get screwed and move away making taxes go out the friggin roof similar to Hartford.

So, is it still there? I see 2-3 more complaints have been opened for the same spot so I have to assume its still there. I'd go look but I'm out of town right now.

Closing out dated & resolved issues.

This issue may be out dated but I'm sure it hasn't been resolved.

Still to this day the ditch in front of the school is filled with old mattresses and box springs as well as up the hill from the school they have been tossed from Lexington Ave over the fence. Maybe New Haven should consider giving residents more access to the dump instead of letting the whole city turn into a furniture dump. I still cant believe the city tried to close this issue...

Imagine being a kid and walking to and from school every day past mini landfills. Shame on LCI for trying to close this issue.
