This area is in zone 11, per Public Works this zone is next on the list, however it could be a couple of weeks before they get to it, weather permitting. Please update us once they pick-up the leaves and let us know if this is remain a concern. We appreciate your patience.

"A couple of weeks" is unacceptable, especially given it was reported 10 days ago. You create lanes that push bicyclists to the side of the road, allow them to fill with debris, and expect us to stay there anyway? Motorists definitely expect us to stay there and get mad when we use the travel lane, even though we are legally allowed to do so. Personally, I wish those lanes had not been striped so that everyone could use the full lane, as needed. Nobody in a car would tolerate this kind of response to a tree down across the road or a major pothole - why should cyclists accept it for a lane that is essentially unusable in sections?

"Zone 11", I assume CoR is referring to leaf pickup? Leaves are not supposed to be in the road.

Who put the leaves/debris in the road?

Can the property owner be cited for this?

Public Works is still in the process of collecting leaves throughout the City. They are behind due to the recent weather. Hopefully the leaves are removed or will be removed soon. Thanks for your patience.
