Fixing the field drainage and potentially looking into carving out a fenced off-leash area at Raymond or in a nearby open lot (there's one that people want to make an official cut through to Cambridge Friends School) would make the park field far less problematic for the people (especially children) trying to play sports in grass that is full of dog waste and often mostly mud to begin with. Our daughter's soccer cleats are a biohazard.
I encourage everyone on this app to also check out the Neighborhood 9 Action Plan site the city has set up, with a map similar to SeeClickFix where we can add ideas and comments. I made a few "I have an idea" additions for Raymond Park, hoping we can get the city to finally address the drainage issue/mud/dog damage problem with an actual improvement plan vs. quick temporary fixes; adding likes and comments to the various ideas, or adding suggestions, will hopefully help them gain traction.
