I was under the impression that for the most part, water fountains were turned on in the parks April 1. Now, I realize we can still get freezes up to then, but maybe someone from whichever department turns them on could watch the weather. It is over 80° today, with the long range weather forecast showing no temps below 50° in the near future. Danehy Park is heavily used, and no, not everyone carries a water bottle. Also, the dog park gets pretty hot on days like this, and there really should be water available there. In addition to water at the dog park..the latches on the gates going into the park are a mess, and two gates now need to be addressed.
