I was at this intersection again this morning and it was backed up past Central Ave. So it takes 2-4 light cycles to go from Central Ave past Yale ave during the morning rush hour. This back up is right at Edgewood school and West Rock Ave with kids and parents sometime not watching where they're walking. The potential for an accident, vehicle to vehicle or pedestrian, it elevated now.

When will the repairs be completed? Has the vendor been summoned to the area to weigh in on all of the malfunctioning smart lights in Westville? The times sequence is NOT acceptable - remember, our taxes have funded these traffic signals and we all continue to pay through a poor level of service throughout the city. I challenge the city to hold the responsible vendors accountable. Check with your peers across the country - perhaps a class action suit against the company? Come on people think.

This traffic signal has been under continued monitoring by the Traffic Signal Division. While the timing is not ideal, the division is devoting resources toward a permanent fix. In the meantime, the division will adjust the timing as needed. The issues with timing will continue until a permanent solution is in place. We appreciate your patience regarding this issue.

Thank you for servicing this light. Northbound traffic on Yale still has to carefully position their vehicles at the stop bar to initiate a light change to green but it's vastly improved. I've noticed other intersections work in better of late as well - we all thank you for making the traffic signals function as intended to increase safety, minimize red light running and decrease pollution.

Still not working properly for NB traffic on Yale. Let's have a stake out to solve this problem.

Saturday March 14, 2015 9:10 am - this is NOT fixed. Northbound traffic on Yale does not consistently trigger light sensor. Just watched the vehicle before this one run the red. Why can't these light be fixed? Who's the vendor? Time for the FOI request. This is not going away.
