Opis

Unauthorized Parking places created on Shelley Road, being used for new Vet Office parking. Major safety issue, road not wide enough to safely facilitate car parking. Spots occupied early am, prior to Vet office parking lot being filled. Numerous issues with vehicles getting by including School busses cause traffic impacts onto Six Forks. Very Unsafe.

It's not "unauthorized" unless there are "No Parking" signs. All public roads in NC are ok to park on except when there's a "No Parking" sign or it's an interstate. You can request a street be made "No Parking" for sections and I believe they'll do a study and see if there are unsafe conditions but until then, it's all authorized parking.

Have to agree with DBDowntowner. If there are no signs, then it is legal to park along Shelley Rd. You would think common sense would make people avoid it there, especially since it might impact them (literally) most of all.

If it really is a problem, notify the City of your concerns, but also recognize the effect on residents along that stretch as well.

Van on the side of the road for sale at the corner of Traywick and Skycrest. Has been there on the side of the road for over a week
