I agree. I use Blatchley as my main bicycling route into and out of Fair Haven - I was on it three times just so far this week. The road is not very bicycle friendly in its current condition. Also, many of the crosswalks have faded out of existence, particularly in the blocks north of Grand Avenue.

Are there any plans to resurface this street? When redone, it should be rebuilt according to the city's Complete Streets Law. http://seeclickfix.com/issues/119210 has some additional discussion and suggestions that may be helpful.
