Housing Violation & Trash outside

This is one for the Livable City Initiative. Have you ever contacted this agency for help? There are dedicated neighborhood specialists for each neighborhood. I think her name is Tracy Claxton. Also contact your Aldermanic rep-Delphine Clyburne or Alfreda Edwards I think. You can look all this up on City of New Haven website. Wishing you success in combatting this blight in your neighborhood.

Maybe this is one for WTNH to investigate. They constantly advertise "We've Got Your Back".
Make them prove it. Perhaps the owner is politically connected?

No the owner is Elizabeth Hayes, who owns Dixwell Cleaners located in the Dixwell Plaza.

She could have friends in high places. Why else would this situation be permitted without consequence. Contact WTNH, they run that ad often with the phone number for their tip hotline. Seems to be your only chane.

I believe that this lady is familiar with the former town chair. A Realtor Group issue , Political Action Committee , co-chairs etc..That was some years ago

Brauna My comment questioning whether owner Elizabeth Hayes is politically connected, meant that she supports the powers that be either financially with campaign contributions or perhaps is related to influential people, not that she herself is a politician/holds public office.

I question this because all the comments state complaints have been made for years about this property to no avail. Complaints that fall on deaf ears, so why is this blight upon the neighborhood and tax fraud perpetuated? The Livable City Initiative has a new director-Serena Neal Janjuro. Request a meeting with her. Call channel 8 (WTNH)tip hotline. They will not ignore this one, believe me.
