FYI

I just called the number .... the person, while nice, gave me the run around and basically claimed it wasn't their responsibility and then transferred me to customer service.

I did mention that the property maps are quite clear -- this is MBTA property-- but with no luck.

Maybe it was the wrong office (the person answered saying it was the office of someone named Charlie something, didn't catch the last name or the title).

Maybe it'll take a call from the Mayor's office itself to light the fire under these guys.

The photo is clearly ACROSS the street from the MBTA station; therefore it is in front of a Malden resident's home, and is our (Malden's) responsibility. They should be fined.

From the picture, this is not MBTA.

The sidewalks in question are clearly in front of Malden residents property. City should consider this a high safety issue due to the high volume of pedestrian now forced to walk in the busy street.
