Sadly both the CIty Council and the Mayor are too busy arguing over things that matter only to them... and have no benefit to the residents and children of Medford. And as expected,

No action has been taken or planned on this issue. Medford continues to lag behind surrounding cities and towns who have and are taking proactive action to protect their residents and children. We need a plan to slow traffic and make the city a safer place for pedestrians and bikers. We need some leadership concerned with real problems...

Yes. Its time for Mayor Mike and his obsolete and tired administration to retire. Lets hope we can get an energetic person with vision to run against mediocre Mike and get the basic on track in Medford.

We in south Medford went through this for years attempting to obtain some relief for Harvard st residents with little to show. We spent years connecting with city officials including the mayor numerous times and were unable to bring about any meaningful, lasting action despite the earth shattering traffic and high volume of commercial trucking speeding through our neighborhood. Traffic calming , speed bumps, staggard parking, raised cross walks , strict enforcement of the speed limit all must be employed to remind all of the inconsiderate commuters tearing through our city that this will not be tolerated in Medford . This would also likely serve to push the commuters back on to the highways where they belong instead of using our neighborhoods for short cuts.

Mike and the city council need to be voted out we should return to a city manager
