Lol what staff? I have played in that area since the late 80s through 2000. That park was always kept up for the children in the area. Now it’s a overgrown junkyard! The kids have no park, no basketball court. Can’t go down on tue street to play basketball because that’s trespassing from Housing Authority. That park is amazing with a amazing view of West Rock. It’s also historic due to many Indian heads and spears that have been found in that park area. Also had a very nice path to walk from the park straight up to Three Judges Cave. City Engineers came out a couple of years ago and met with us about fixing the park. What happened? I wanna ask Justin what about the kids in the city. 3 million for summer programs for the kids lol.. only a couple were available this year and almost non for teens. And you wonder why these kids get in trouble. At least fill the tanks up on the lawnmowers and take down that jungle! Our family has been paying taxes to this city since 1945. What a disappointment for the children. I’m sending a letter to the mayor for Ward 30 and I’m going to have a conversation with our Alderwoman Mrs. Smith.
