Description

This is a very specific request related to the light cycle and walk signal, which I assume will be ignored. The way the lights are currently timed, the Elm and Church light turns green as the Elm and Orange light turns red (heading southeast down Elm). There is no walk sign here currently, which is part of the problem. This signal timing leads to three lanes of cars hitting the gas to go one block before having to slam on the brakes, which leads to cars frequently running this red light. Because of the light cycle timing, I dont feel safe walking across this intersection until well after the light has changed, because I constantly see cars running this light after hitting the gas one block earlier. If there was a walk signal added or a slight delay in the cycle to match up the green and red lights, this issue would be solved.
