Update to this issue, a guy that lives on Clifton street came around with a petition a couple of weeks ago asking for this very thing. It would seem that someone who was speeding down Russel Street blew through the stop sign while speeding and swerved out of the road and into his fence, narrowly missing the house. The police responded by putting up one of those signs on Clifton Street which reports your speed. I suppose that is better than nothing but I still believe this is a problem that should be addressed.
