Description
Fences were added to the trail. This leaves no escape for runners, walkers and people on bikes in a case of mugging.
By taking the fences down, the trail users don’t get trapped if mugging happens and they have more options to escape the dangerous situation.

There were fences here couple of years ago. The community asked to have the fences to be taken down due to their exclusive nature. It felt like the city tried to keep people out from this trail. Then began the muggins. Trail users were trapped between muggers and the fences.
Luckily fences were then taken down. Why are they back up?
