Actually my last visit less than a week ago, gave me the impression that the entire East Shore Park could use a heavy spring cleaning. The removal of trash barrels over the winter left me confused as to why the P & R Dept. did not accommodate the people who walk their dogs during the colder months. Have paper bag, but where are the trash cans?
Southern Connecticut State University students are volunteering to help clean up the park this coming Saturday 4-25-15. They will be doing park cleanup from 10 am to 2 pm. Anyone who lives in the neighborhood and is concerned about the park is welcome to join in the effort. If you would like additional information, please contact Christy Hass from Parks and Rec at 203-946-8004. Thank you.
The issue has been resolved. If you need to report a new issue please do so in See Click Fix or call the Department of Parks, Recreation and Trees at (203) 946 - 8004. Thank you.
