Thank you for contacting UDOT. This signal runs different sets of coordinated timing plans in the morning, midday, and evening time periods and on weekends. These plans prioritize flow along the major corridor to minimize the number of stops for the higher volume of vehicles. This may cause some delay for westbound left traffic . If more green time was given to the westbound left turn it would throw off the signal coordination on Mountain View Corridor. We are aware of the concerns and have balanced the operation as best as we possibly can. We have verified that the detection sensors are working properly and the westbound left turn is getting its allotted green time.
