Comment from VUEWorks: Intersection works on radar actuation each lane is serviced as the radar picks up the car approaching the intersection and will hold the green longer if traffic continues to been seen by radar. Multiple observations last year and this year of traffic has shown that IF the drivers are observant and drive a large number of cars can be cleared. But if traffic is stalled and does not move when able then the green will not be extended and the phase will only get the minimum green to service the next phase. We will continue to monitor the intersection and look improvements as the construction continues this summer.
