Tried the view of the signal recently from a vehicle headed south on Church St and in the right lane, one simply cannot see the signal at all, in the left lane, its almost too late to stop by the time one sees it. Yes the branches are still there, overhanging and blocking view of signal. A regular traveler of this route may know the light is there, but others will not. And many run the light because by the time they see it, its too short a distance to try to stop and of course they are going at a fairly good clip of speed. When can someone trim the branches?

Today, a car ran through the light again. Those of us waiting at Medlock and Forkner proceeded cautiously because we know that happens. So nothing to report...except the trees are still blocking the view of the signal! (Its me Tony, Tracie.)

As a City resident that lives at this intersection, we couldn't agree more. The blockage of the trees plus the hill make this a consistently dangerous intersection. We have seen accidents and many, many near-misses here. There are a lot of kids who live right at this intersection. And traffic will increase next week with school starting. We would greatly appreciate the City addressing the trimming of the trees and other vegetation -- ideally on a regular basis. Thank you!
