I agree Rita, I already lost a car 2 yrs ago due to the flooding in the streets on Citrus Dr. My new Altima was parked in the street when a sudden torrential rain came down, the water up to the floorboards, I started it up to move it in the driveway and it sucked in all the water...wrecked had to be totaled. It was only a year old...no comensation for my deductible from the county who knew of the flooding for years

Road was draining through structure at the end of the road. Everything checked out fine at the time. Homeowner was not home to talk with.

Try Citrus Dr after it rains for a day or so....cannot get down the street to walk the dogs without walking inpuddles..and getting splashed...road is disintergrating

County is really letting us down! The water stacks high enough to prevent compact cars from passing, and it takes two to three days for the water to drain. The street pavement is breaking/pulverizing, and as the water perculates through the pavement it looks like a soda pop with all the bubbling up out of the asphalt. The drainage canal at the far West end of the canal has once again filled in with sand and weeds. That is the only drainage for the West end of So Canal Dr. The County use to at least clean that canal out once in awhile- they haven't been cleaned out for over a year or more. There is no other drainage for the other 3/4 of the street-- look at the picture.
Other streets in our community are equally bad, and water stacks deep enough to prevent passage. This is really bad!

Crew responded to flooding on road. Road was draining through one structure at end of roadway. Everything looked to be fine at the time. Homeowner wasn't home at the time to talk to.
