This encampment has been causing havoc for months now. Why is it being allowed if they are harassing the people who live near it. Why is one group of people allowed to not follow the laws of this city. Shut it down now. No more excuses.

First our elected officials will have to all be on the same page. Then they need to give the over paid public mangers a directive to fix the problem. They will insist that are not qualified and that they need to hire consultants who then hire homeless advocate who will bring us back to where we started. Anyway put them in big lot somewhere.

Oakland has no excuse not to try a tent city, where there are sanitary facilities and the homeless can wreck havoc in their own camp. Allowing them to intimidate people who live in this area is unacceptable.
