I was wondering how this investigation is going? Nothing is being removed from the yard.

Just curious - have you approached them at all? I recently had a neighbor who left a mattress out on the curb for a few weeks and I knew she normally keep her yard looking nice - but it still looked bad to people when you drove by. I figured she simply had no way to get rid of it. So I sent her a kind message through a neighborhood app (I had never spoken to her before) and let her know about the pickup that Town Hall offers for free if you just call or email and schedule it. I assumed the best not the worst and she responded very kindly and used the service. It was a easy resolution as well as a intro to a nice neighbor.
