it looks like those filters (mesh bags with granite rocks?) are still in place at various sewers. Should they remove them? I can contact them if it helps.

At areas where the adjacent loose soil and development has been minimized the grate fabric and granite bags could be removed. Feel free to contact them in regard to any such areas that would qualify.
