Framingham won't be a nice, safe place to live any time soon. Framingham is chock full of the dregs of society and the town is doing everything in it's power to enable these people. There's a welfare office, a methadone clinic, a prison, SMOC, the Salvation Army where the penniless druggies can get a free meal (just so long as you're straight and Catholic) and it doesn't help that the PD is full of arrogant refuse that go by "guilty until proven innocent."

I'll bet you my bottom dollar that the PD is blaming the rape victim for what happened. 10 years ago someone tried to kill me (a Framingham "frequent flier" with a criminal record five miles long) and they ended up trying to make it my fault. When they arrested me, I was covered in my own blood, all slashed up, had a broken nose, hand shaped bruises around my neck and patches of hair torn out. He didn't have a mark on him and they believed him.

So, the long and short of it is Framingham is a dangerous and corrupt town and I would move out ASAP if I were you.
