Yes, there are. I'm glad to see City of Raleigh acknowledging these problems. In the pat, they have responded that the state DOT maintains the Blount St corridor. I attended a CAC meeting this week at which a City staff member discussed bicycle lane plans and noted that this section is being worked on in conjunction with the state. It is absurd the state of disrepair of that street while other streets that are smooth are repaved. Who on earth sets the priorities for road paving?

I have repeatedly made posts about this and I too have attended the CAC meetings living over here. The pot holes are beyond just damaging to cars. People swerve to avoid them and puts lives in danger. Hopefully the proper entity will fix it immedietely.

I've been writing the City and the State DOT about this for over a year, and many others have commented here. It's extremely irresponsible of both entities to continue to ignore this. Recently one lane was closed one morning, and the next morning the other lane was closed. There were people working, I assumed repairing potholes, but the next day, potholes were still there. You'd think the Governor would want the entry to his Mansion to be attractive and safe.

This location is not maintained by the City of Raleigh. We will close this See Click Fix inquiry at this time as only the City uses SCF to track issues in our area.

Why doesn't the city have a direct line with the state so the City can let the state know about these issues? why is it up to citizens to report potholes in the roads they pay for?
