The speed limit on Glenwood Ave is actually statutory citywide 35mph. The city does not typically post 35mph signs since it is the statutory speed limit unless there is a speed limit change. The 25mph speed limit you are referring to on a yellow sign is actually an advisory speed for the condition stated in the warning sign above it, in this case an intersection warning sign. Staff will conduct a speed study to see if there is a compliance issue with the 35mph speed limit and forward the results to the police department for enforcement as necessary.
