Graffiti on the "Parker" bench, my favorite, has been annoying me for a while now. Knowing from numerous studies that graffiti begets more graffiti, I was able to remove it with a soaped scouring pad, a few liters of water from the fountain, and some elbow grease.

I'm posting here to suggest that sometimes it's less frustrating to take ownership of an issue than to report it and expect an immediate fix.
