In a Sept 7th, 2016 letter to the city manager, APOA president Alan Kuboyama refers to an email exchange between Mayor Trish Spencer and Police Chief Paul Rolleri, wherein Rolleri wrote in part, "...it would be premature to have a discussion..."

I'd like to get a copy of the exchange, starting with the Mayor's e-mail to the chief, the chief's response, and any subsequent messages exchanged.

I note that the city of alameda has already waived privilege by releasing the exchange to the police officers association and apparently as well to the East bay Citizen.
