This is an ongoing issue on the stretch of Cameron street at the corner of Ellwood Avenue. The mediocre patch up does not hold up and the shrapnel it produces is dangerous for pedestrians. In addition the flooding that occurs poses an added danger to drivers since they can't gage the depth of the hole and are loosing rims and according to the sound they make when driving through might have damage done to their rims as well. The wast of taxpayers money here is astounding! Rather than repairing it once in a manner that lasts for years the city opts for these wasteful and ineffective option of patching the problem up and hopes it goes away?! I have seen proper repaving of damaged streets in other neighborhoods. I assume the decision however has nothing to do with the need but more with the house prices in these neighborhoods! Come out, deal with this issue in a satisfactory, money wise and long term matter and stop wasting everybody's time and money on a badly done job!
