I have been reporting this for months and I have spoken with John Blando personally about what seems to be an intermittent issue. It works fine for a bit then occasionally won't. I know they (traffic & parking) have been addressing this issue. I have experienced the same thing with it not working lately, just haven't had time to call him in the last week.

I see many cars running the light after LOOONNNGGGG waits.

This has happened at 6pm and 8pm approx. It was working, then it stops and then doesn't again. even backed up and tried to catch the sensor a few times- nada. Trial and error I guess

This technology goes back to the mid 1980's - why can't this issue be resolved citywide to solve speeding and red light running?

This sensor is still not working properly. It seems to work during the day but not at night. You can sit there for ever unless a car comes the other way and triggers it.

Still not working - what's so difficult about fixing ALL of the lights so we can prevent traffic accidents and save fuel???

Still not working - maybe it's too hot? When will ALL of the traffic signals in the city be fixed so we can stop having people running lights and discussing red light cameras?

This is still not working heading towards Edgewood Park on Yale. Last night I ended up going through the red light after sitting there at 11PM for over 8 minutes with not one car coming either way. SENSOR DOES NOT WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you contacted Mr. Blando at Traffic and Parking?- his number is on the City web site- He is VERY responsive- I ran into this issue about 100 times before he finally fixed it--
try backing up and moving a bit from side to side in the lane- sometimes that works.

The walk button seldom works either. How much of our tax money was spent on new traffic signals that don't even work?

As of yesterday morning at 5:25 am, this light was still not working.
