Thanks, Doug, for acknowledging this issue. The problem is that the ban is not enforced before the snow begins, and the street never gets plowed. It is a perennial problem. The ban, again, wasn't enforced on these cars at the entrance to the street, and these folks know they can flout the regulation with impunity. Then, once neighbors dig themselves out, mountains of snow sit in parking spaces and the plows still never come to remove it. This means that my tenant has no place to park and the street becomes an obstacle course of cars parked halfway into the road. Last large snow storm there was a 2nd round of parking bans and Putnam street wasn't included, so not a single plow ever passed down the street.

Same problem on Compton and Woodland.

We are closing older snow issues in order to get ready for winter season 2017 -2018. We reviewed snow issues from SCF along with our field notes and adjusted where we can. Thanks for reporting and helping us solve some of the snowy issues.
