Description

Water box stays full of water after days of no rain and having sprinkler system turned off for days. There has to be a leak in the city's side. After the city staff came out & showed our meter indicator was NOT turning & a plumber & sprinkler people told us a leak was on the city side. This is a mosquito breeding site & a waste of water. Please fix. Michael Banks

A Service Technician pumped water out of meter box and found no visible leak he will return 06/13/2017 to recheck , the city is working to resolve this issue, Thank you for your patience and for working with the COJ on this issue

Your concern/issue has been checked no leak was indicated on either side of the meter. Service technicians have checked this meter 06/12-06/13-06/14 and determined the water is coming from ground water or surface run off. Thank you for working with the City of Jacksonville.
