This complaint is directed specifically at the grotesque and disturbing images of protesters in front of Planned Parenthood, not at the issue of abortion in itself. This morning, my twelve year old daughter was exposed to a graphic image of an aborted fetus -- clearly a human form -- torn into pieces. My child is not even of the age to watch a PG-13 movie. How is this possibly an acceptable image in a public space? Her face fell, she almost started crying. She will never unsee the image. This was on our way to school. She will think of this image at school. Whatever your beliefs, you must see that this is entirely inappropriate for a child. Keep the pictures of Mary, of moms and babies, but remove the graphic images. This image harmed my child. They are hurting our children with their aggressive tactics.

This makes me sick also and has no place in our neighborhood. Protest all you want but do so in a way that is not upsetting or disturbing to others. It is especially tactless to show these disturbing photos in places where children may be exposed to them. I am sure that very few, if any, of these protesters actually live in the East Rock area. I wonder how they would react if somebody posted pictures of deformed dead bodies in their neighborhoods.
Also, how is showing something like this and traumatizing children not "violating God's commandments"?! Keep doing the Lord's work though I am sure He would be very proud of you all.
Abortions are a very small percentage of the services that planned parenthood even provides. These protesters may be flashing these horrific images in the face of a woman who is going there for a mammogram, an ultrasound, or some other important or necessary medical evaluation. Can you imagine the pain a woman might be going through if she were to go to Planned Parenthood for an ultrasound, found out that she lost her baby and then had to walk outside and see these horrific images? Nobody needs to see this. End rant.

Very, very disturbing images and it is hypocritical, to "save" children and also expose them to intentionally harmful images. And to violate the privacy of space or purpose of anyone accessing public school or health services.
While this is not curative, those are not real photos. These are fake images, created for exactly this impact/reaction: to provoke revulsion and brand a mental image that sustains and empowers these protesters. They were told and think they are real, to heighten their motivation and believes. They are provided by organisations that coordinate "grass-roots" activities while harvesting their donations. They are pure visual propaganda to motivate the protesters.

To be honest, my wife was with them when this happened, had the same reaction and got the same responses. They have a manual "Closed: 99 Ways to Stop Abortion".
I believe the right to privacy, part of the argument in Roe v Wade, is violated if any person or group attempts to influence personal health-care choices by approaching anyone entering or leaving any health care facility. And more so - emotionally injurious with false content.

Drove by this morning and was pleased to see that this group has moved further back from the driveway at Planned Parenthood and now has a picture of Mary instead of the grotesque and provocative imagery they had before. If someone from the city addressed this, thank you. I've not been taking Edwards with my children for months now, and have had to take a winding route to avoid the previous imagery, so I will feel grateful to be back to a more direct route.
Closing this for now, but will reopen if it becomes and issue again. Thanks.
