Why hasn't Mr. B's alder pushed to have this fixed? Can't ANYTHING be done in this city without Local 34 and Local 35's approval?

I had an issue like this on my property when I first bought my house, though not as extreme. I wrote an email to my LCI specialist advising how this sidewalk needed to be fixed before someone was seriously injured - which was inevitable; how I had contacted the city on numerous occasions about this hazard and how there was no response. I cc'd the directora of Public Works, LCI, City Engineering, the Mayor and all of the Alders in the Hill. I explained how I, as a property owner would be held liable if someone got hurt on a sidealk which although is connected with my property is the responsibility od the city as it is damaged from the roots of a tree on the treebelt, which I believe is the city's responsibility. Send the email, follow-up with voice calls, tell Paul Bass of the Independent your story and send him the picture. I think you might get a response sooner than later. Not only was the sidewalk fixed when the tree pulled up the sidewalk, but they replaced the sidewalk two more houses down and across the street. And keep posting on SeeClikFix.
